Job summary

The Inland Empire Utilities Agency is seeking a Facilities Technician I–III to perform a diverse range of facilities maintenance and repair work supporting water, wastewater, recycled water, and composting operations in the Inland Empire.

Responsibilities include preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building automation systems, along with carpentry and other hands-on tasks. Advancement opportunities exist within the Technician II/III tracks.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED or equivalent.
• Experience in semi-skilled maintenance or facilities work is preferred.
• Willingness to obtain required certifications within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment including motors, pumps, valves, and boilers.
• Follow safety policies and obtain required certifications within stated timelines.
