Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform general building repairs and support maintenance across our 1 million square foot HQ in Long Beach. You’ll respond to work requests, assist with preventive maintenance, and collaborate with technicians, engineers, and contractors to keep operations running smoothly.

Required: high school diploma, 1+ year of building maintenance experience, ability to provide before-and-after photos, forklift experience with in-house certification,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in building maintenance or related work.
• Ability to provide before-and-after photos demonstrating prior work.
• Experience using forklifts or similar equipment; willingness to obtain forklift certification.
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Complete general building repairs, including carpentry, drywall, painting, patching, and repairs to doors and fixtures.
• Respond to facility work requests through JIRA, provide status updates, and document completed work.
• Assist Facilities technicians with preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and basic troubleshooting.
• Move and organize pallets, equipment, and materials using hand tools, forklifts, lifts, and other equipment.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, contractors, and vendors to support facility projects and emergencies.
• Follow safety, environmental, and security requirements while performing work.
