Job summary

CV Resources is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install facility equipment in a demanding industrial environment. The role emphasizes stainless steel piping and high-pressure systems, including 200+ PSI operations.

The ideal candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, read mechanical drawings, and coordinate with contractors to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in industrial facilities or mechanical maintenance.
• Experience with stainless steel piping and components.
• Experience with high-pressure systems (200+ PSI).
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and piping diagrams.
• Commitment to safety and lockout/tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility systems, mechanical equipment, piping, pumps, valves, and related infrastructure.
• Install, modify, repair, and troubleshoot stainless steel piping and process systems.
• Work safely with high-pressure systems operating at 200+ PSI.
• Diagnose leaks, pressure issues, equipment failures, and mechanical problems and determine corrective action.
• Inspect piping, fittings, valves, pumps, pressure regulators, and other components for wear and potential failure.
• Perform mechanical repairs, equipment adjustments, and component replacements as needed.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, piping diagrams, manuals, and facility plans.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment and facility systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and document completed work.
• Use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment safely and effectively.
• Coordinate with contractors and outside service providers for specialized repairs or installations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate issues to management.
• Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Respond to maintenance issues and equipment emergencies as needed.
• Perform general facility maintenance and other duties as assigned.
