Job summary

PopStroke is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain the grounds, ensure safety, and keep facilities in top condition. You will perform repairs, landscaping, cleaning, and system maintenance to deliver a pristine guest experience.

Role requires hands-on, problem-solving abilities, weekend/holiday availability, and strong teamwork. Expect non-exempt, hourly compensation with a pay rate of $18–$24 per hour. Join us to keep spaces play-ready and sparkling.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in facilities maintenance and landscaping.
• Knowledge of basic maintenance and repair techniques, as well as landscaping principles and practices.
• Experience operating equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Experience working with cleaning products and chemicals.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and landscaping requirements.
• Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, such as painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC system maintenance.
• Perform landscaping duties.
• Monitor and maintain the misting system.
• Maintain all areas in a safe and clean condition by sweeping, mopping, and pressure washing.
• Monitor and replenish supplies.
• Report any maintenance needs and hazards to a supervisor immediately.
• Complete maintenance checklists.
• Assist with storm preparedness and recovery tasks.
• Remove trash, safely operate a trash compactor, and ensure cleanliness of the trash compactor area.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for guests and employees.
• Assist with special tasks and projects.
• Work in both an indoor and outdoor environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
