Job summary

Legend Brands is hiring a Facilities Technician I/II at our Burlington, WA location on a swing shift (Mon–Fri, 3:30 pm–12:00 am) with a $2.00/hr shift differential. The role performs maintenance, repair, and operation of the facilities under general supervision, including painting, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and prior experience with carpet cleaning or floor care is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with carpet cleaning and/or floor care and refinishing is desired.
• General understanding of the facilities and the impact facility maintenance has on daily operations.
• Proper use of necessary tools, equipment, and PPE.
• Material Handling and Storage MSD.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, carpentry, and other related maintenance activities.
• Maintain exterior of facility, clean parking areas, pressure wash, paint touch‑up and other activities related to the maintenance of the exterior grounds.
• Assist in cleaning and sanitizing buildings including cleaning carpets and hard floor surfaces when needed and maintaining mechanical systems and other operations as required.
• Provide general interior maintenance; hang pictures, repair office furniture systems, repair doors, and move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other items as needed.
• Assist the Facilities Team in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment as directed.
• Service and maintain assigned equipment and make minor mechanical adjustments and repairs on related equipment such as checking/servicing fuel, oil, coolant levels, tire pressure, and general appearance; take necessary steps to bring equipment up to operating standard.
