Job summary
Speedway Motorsports, LLC's Bristol Motor Speedway Operations team is seeking a Full-Time Cleanup Technician to keep the Speedway, Dragway, and facilities clean and guest-ready for races, events and rentals. You will perform daily cleanup, assist with painting and other operations, and be ready to work outdoors, evenings, weekends, and extended event hours as needed.
Normal hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with race-day shifts potentially extending to 14+ hours; some travel to other tracks may be
Qualifications
- Must have strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Willingness to perform cleaning tasks including restrooms, trash, pressure washing, sweeping and mopping.
- Able to stay busy, work at a steady pace and finish assigned work.
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Comfortable outdoors and during evenings, weekends, holidays and extended event hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleanup throughout the Speedway, Dragway, offices, suites, grandstands, restrooms, concourses, parking areas, and other facility spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, pressure wash, remove trash and debris, clean restrooms, and perform other routine cleaning duties.
- Prepare the facility before races, meetings, rentals, and events; assist with post-event cleanup.
- Keep cleaning supplies and equipment clean and organized; support Paint team and other operations.

The Full-Time Cleanup Technician is a hands‑on member of the Bristol Motor Speedway Operations team responsible for keeping the Speedway, Dragway, and supporting facilities clean and ready for guests, employees, races, and special events.
We are looking for someone who works hard, is dependable, takes pride in their work, and is willing to do whatever needs to be done. Cleanup is the primary responsibility of this position, with support for painting and other Operations work as needed.

- Willingness to clean restrooms, pick up trash, pressure wash, sweep, mop, and handle other cleanup work without hesitation
- Ability to stay busy, work at a steady pace, and finish assigned work

- Comfortable working outdoors and working evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended event hours when needed
- Perform daily cleanup throughout the Speedway, Dragway, offices, suites, grandstands, restrooms, concourses, parking areas, and other facility spaces
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, pressure wash, remove trash and debris, clean restrooms, and perform other routine cleaning duties

- Keep work areas, cleaning supplies, and equipment clean and organized
- Assist the Paint team with painting, surface preparation, touch‑up work, and cleanup as assigned
- Assist with Speedway in Lights installation and removal, event setup and teardown, moving materials, and other facility projects
- Be willing to step outside normal cleanup duties and help wherever Operations needs support
- Follow BMS safety procedures and use cleaning products, tools, ladders, lifts, and equipment properly
- Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or facility concerns to the Cleanup Supervisor
- Normal business hours are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday. Some weekends and evenings will be necessary based on business needs.
- Hours during race time may increase to 14 or more hours per day, with weekend requirements and additional hours as assigned.
Travel to other Speedway Motorsports tracks may be necessary. It is not anticipated that this would exceed 10% of the time
