Job summary

Dr. Bronner’s is seeking a maintenance-focused professional for on-site duties at our Vista, CA facility. The role involves maintaining interior and exterior building systems, troubleshooting multiple utilities, and ensuring safe, efficient operation of production support equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years hands-on experience in building maintenance, general construction, or facility operations.
• 2 years experience in industrial/construction environment.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook).
• Ability to use scissor lift, forklift, pallet jacks and articulating boom lift.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general maintenance and repair of interior and exterior buildings and facilities equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, mechanical, structural, fire protection, and related systems.
• Perform carpentry, plastering, painting, drywall, roofing, flooring, landscaping and masonry tasks.
• Assist with moving heavy equipment/machinery and office relocations.
• Work independently to follow preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Troubleshoot system issues and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Assist with pulling wire and maintaining tool inventory.
• Define training and preventive maintenance programs for equipment.

Starting Wage

$40.11 hourly

Location

On-site position in Vista, CA.

Schedule

5:00 AM -1:40 PM Monday through Friday with overtime during the week and on weekends

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for conducting general maintenance and repair of interior and exterior building/property, building systems, and facilities equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, mechanical, structural, fire protection, and other related systems supporting utilities for production equipment and building.
• General maintenance which may include, but is not limited to, carpentry, plastering, painting, drywall, roofing, flooring, landscaping, masonry, welding, framing. etc.
• Help with moving heavy equipment/machinery and office relocations.
• Work independently to perform preventative maintenance following written schedules and procedures.
• Help troubleshoot system issues and take corrective actions, while minimizing production downtime.
• Assist with pulling wire.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment; recommend tools, supplies, and equipment for purchase.
• Define training and preventive maintenance programs to optimize and maintain equipment.
• Responsible for safety compliance personally and with equipment.
• Complete maintenance work orders and projects as assigned and in a timely manner.
• Conduct general upkeep tasks of buildings, as assigned (e.g., landscaping, painting, carpentry, masonry, drywall, framing, concrete, doors, locks, windows, etc.)
• Drive vehicles to Dr. Bronner buildings for various repair tickets.
• Other duties as assigned within job scope.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of hands-on experience in building maintenance, general construction, or facility operations.
• 2 years of experience in industrial and/or the construction industry
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and Outlook.)
• Ability to use scissor lift, forklift, pallet jacks and articulating boom lift.

Must have reliable transportation and possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license including proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage and insurability under the Company’s insurance carrier standards.
