Providence St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support maintenance of hospital buildings, equipment and utilities in Spokane. Responsibilities include routine carpentry, painting, HVAC and light electrical/plumbing tasks as trained.
Under the Facilities Manager, you will ensure safety and reliability, while maintaining a supportive, respectful environment for patients and staff.
Under the direction of the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Maintenance Technician performs a variety of routine, skilled and preventative maintenance duties in the repair, alteration and modification of hospital buildings, equipment and utilities at St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute. The assignments may include general building maintenance, carpentry, painting, changing light bulbs, repair of minor electrical devices, light plumbing or HVAC according to the persons training and experience. All employees are expected to be pleasant, respectful and courteous in all interactions with patients, families, staff, and visitors of the Institute, as well as being a positive representative of the hospital at all times.

Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience or 3 years related maintenance experience or an apprenticeship in a related trade
Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
