Job summary

Buck Company LLC in Quarryville, PA is seeking a dependable Facilities Technician for the 1st shift to maintain buildings, equipment, and workspaces. You will work with the Facilities Manager on hands-on maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a HS diploma or equivalent, strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to safety and reliability in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision; clear and effective communication with team and leadership.
  • Ability to safely perform essential job functions in accordance with Buck Company safety policies.
  • Reliable, regular, and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Facilities Manager with daily facility and maintenance activities.
  • Perform minor plumbing repairs and maintenance as needed.
  • Complete general carpentry work in office and foundry areas.
  • Repair and finish drywall; perform painting and patching as required.
  • Install lighting fixtures and assist with basic electrical tasks (as qualified).
  • Assemble and install office furniture and fixtures.
  • Perform routine facility maintenance, including floor patching and general repairs.
  • Maintain compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Support a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

As a Facilities Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining our buildings, equipment, and workspaces. Working closely with the Facilities Manager, you will perform a variety of hands-on maintenance tasks to ensure our facility remains safe, functional, and compliant.

What You'll Do:
