Job summary

Orangetheory - Franchise #0279 is seeking a Facilities Technician to inspect, maintain and repair equipment across Tennessee franchise locations. You will manage preventative maintenance, respond to emergencies, coordinate with vendors, and ensure studios operate safely and efficiently.

The role may include after-hours work and requires collaboration with the facilities director to keep all studios running at optimal levels.

Qualifications

• Patching, painting and basic finishing skills.
• Competence in plumbing and minor electrical tasks.
• Mechanical and general construction abilities.
• Experience leading and coaching a team of 4+ people.
• Computer literacy and basic tech troubleshooting.
• Experience maintaining and repairing fitness equipment.

Responsibilities

• Visit all company owned locations on a regular schedule to access repairs, safety and cleanliness.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections of equipment in all facilities.
• Respond to emergency calls and coordinate repairs with vendors and corporate staff.
• Manage repairs and maintenance timelines with approved vendors.
• Assist with budget management for facilities projects.
• Prepare facilities for changing weather conditions and inspect for issues.
• Support facilities director to keep studios running at optimal levels.
• Coordinate repairs and responses through platforms for organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Visit all company owned locations on a regular schedule to access repairs, safety and cleanliness in all areas (interior & exterior)


• Perform routine preventative maintenance inspections of equipment in all facilities


• Respond to all emergency calls


• Perform emergency repairs on all equipment, coordinate with vendors and corporate staff to ensure equipment is properly maintained and fixed within a reasonable timeline.


• Coordinate all repairs and maintenance with any approved vendors when needed


• Manage facilities budgets and work within them


• Respond to all emails and communication in a timely manner.


• Prepare facilities for changing weather conditions and inspect for any possible issues.


• May include after-hours work


• Familiarize and be knowledgeable on all warranty specifications.


• Work alongside facilities director to make sure all studios are running at an optimal level.


• Work with the platforms to ensure organized and timely repairs and response.


• Understand that studio needs change and be able to adapt to the fast moving industry.
