Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician/Administrator to support day-to-day facility maintenance and operations in Mountain View, California. This onsite contract role requires hands-on skills across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems, with the ability to manage projects, vendors, and emergencies.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in HVAC or electrical fields, or 10+ years in facilities management, and hold a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of HVAC or electrical experience, or 10+ years in facilities maintenance.
• HS diploma or GED required.
• HVAC/Electrical education or certifications preferred.
• OSHA 10 preferred.
• Strong communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work on ladders up to 20 ft.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
• Perform general building repairs and maintenance
• Support facility projects, events, and employee moves
• Coordinate/escort contractors and service vendors
• Respond to facility issues and emergencies
• Maintain work orders and records of materials/labor
• Assist with furniture, equipment, shelving, and fixture installation
• Travel to nearby facilities in San Francisco and Palo Alto as needed

Location: Mountain View, CA – Onsite

Pay Rate: $37.46/hr.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Overview:

This role will troubleshoot and perform repairs involving HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and general building maintenance, while also assisting with projects, vendors, events, furniture moves, and facility emergencies.
