Under direct supervision of the Facilities Manager, performs a variety of duties in support of the maintenance and repair of CNS Healthcare buildings, facilities, grounds, and vehicles.
Compensation Range
$22.00 to $24.00 per hour, based on non‑discriminatory factors such as skills and experience.

Essential Functions
- Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
- Performs assigned day‑to‑day repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance.
- Completes maintenance and repair records as required.
- Reviews assigned work orders; estimates time and materials needed to complete repair.
- Orders necessary materials and supplies to complete all tasks.
- Performs a variety of semi‑skilled building trade duties, including carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical (e.g., drywall repair and replacement, painting, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed).
- Maintains grounds of facility/property (e.g., snow removal and salt application, outside trash removal, debris cleanup from doorways/sidewalks/grounds).
- Performs plumbing maintenance (e.g., repair or replacement of leaks in faucets, unclogging of drains/toilets, replacing drain hoses on washers).
- Performs electrical maintenance (e.g., repair or replace wall switches and outlets, incandescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.).
- Assists with moving, reconfiguring, and installing modular offices and furniture to accommodate user needs, as well as set‑up and breakdown of conference rooms and other company events as needed.
- Conducts regular inspection of facilities and vehicles utilizing an established checklist/schedule.
- Documents and files findings of inspections.
- Initiates actions to address any matters requiring attention (e.g., repairs, replacement, service calls, etc.).
- Responds to maintenance requests or facilities needs from email, phone, or verbal.
- Delivers inter‑office mail to each location daily.
- Performs some Facilities Coordinator duties as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education, Skills and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1–3 years’ experience in facility maintenance
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry
- Knowledge in the use of hand tools (drills, power saw, hammer, screwdriver, etc.)
- Ability to work independently without limited supervision
- Working knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and courteously
- Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to calculate simple figures such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
- Intermediate time management, problem solving, customer service, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Intermediate collaboration and team working skills.
- Ability to be forward thinking and take initiative to accomplish goals and objectives of the department.
- Intermediate level experience with computers and Microsoft Office products
- Ability to analyze information, research issues, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience
- Certification in Facilities Maintenance
- Requires valid and unrestricted Driver’s License
- Current proof of insurance and registration
Position Type and Expected Hours
Full time. Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a 30‑minute lunch. Occasional weekends, early morning and evening work, as well as on‑call duty for facilities emergencies.
Travel
This position requires travel during the workday to other locations.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. It routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones. Work may involve driving to several locations, sometimes in inclement weather.
