iNRCORE Group, a leading provider of high‑reliability passive electronic components, seeks a Facilities Technician II for its Dyco Electronics facility in Hornell, NY. The role performs routine and preventive building maintenance and coordinates external vendors to keep the site safe and functional.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of facility maintenance experience and basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in general building or facility maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry tasks.
• Ability to coordinate and work with outside contractors or service providers.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.

We currently have an opening for Facilities Technician in our Dyco Electronics facility, located in Hornell, NY. This mid‑level role performs skilled general building maintenance, coordinates external vendors as needed, and supports facility operations to ensure the building remains safe, compliant, and functional.

The ideal candidate has experience performing building maintenance tasks and is capable of working independently.

Details Of The Role

The Facilities Technician II performs routine and preventive building maintenance, helps maintain facility infrastructure, coordinates vendor activities when required, and supports facility-related safety programs.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance, including light carpentry, minor electrical work, light plumbing, and basic repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections of facility systems such as lighting, HVAC filters, restrooms, breakrooms, and emergency equipment.
• Coordinate outside vendors or contractors for facility-related repairs or services when required.
• Support minor facility projects, office moves, workstation setups, and space rearrangements.
• Assist with maintaining facility systems such as doors, locks, signage, and common-area equipment.
• Perform light groundskeeping tasks as needed (site-dependent).
• Assist with maintaining inspection logs, facility documentation, and compliance records.
• Monitor cleanliness of facility areas and coordinate with cleaning staff or vendors as needed.
• Support Safety/EHS with emergency preparedness, fire safety equipment checks, and facility walk-throughs.
• Identify facility improvement opportunities and report issues to Facilities leadership.
• Perform other facility-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifying Attributes And Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in general building or facility maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry tasks.
• Ability to coordinate and work with outside contractors or service providers.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel, or work in tight areas depending on task.
• Ability to work around cleaning agents and basic maintenance tools.
