Taylor Strategy Partners is seeking a Facilities System Technician in Dallas to maintain and troubleshoot critical semiconductor support systems. You will handle daily operation, preventive and corrective maintenance, and documentation with guidance from specialists and engineers.

You will monitor HVAC, exhaust, chilled water, hot water, DI water, and plant vacuum systems, reading mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings to diagnose issues and implement fixes.

• Understanding of facilities system operations and how to learn SCADA and interdependencies (HVAC, exhaust, chilled water, hot water, DI water, plant vacuum).
• Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and controls drawings.

As a Facilities System Technician, you’ll be responsible for day-to-day system performance, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and documentation on designated mechanical systems in support of semiconductor manufacturing operations. You will work with the support of Specialists and engineers to ensure the reliable operation of critical systems.

THESE ARE THE JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF A FACILITIES SYSTEM TECHNICIAN:

• Drive completion of facilities equipment planned and corrective maintenance in a safe and timely manner
• Review and complete work orders daily and record all information in Facilities Maintenance System (FMS)
• Respond quickly to system alarms and potentially critical situations, performing rapid and accurate situational assessments and troubleshooting system components under guidance
• Assist in updating and maintaining SOPs and documentation for assigned systems
• Ensure all work complies with ESHS and applicable codes and standards, including work permits, building permits, confined space permits, and burn permits
• Acquire quotes and enter purchase requisitions for work on systems.
• Participate in daily operations meetings and communicate with operations team to review field work and priorities

YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE EVERYTHING ABOVE BECAUSE YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE LIKE:

• Understanding of assigned facilities system operations and ability to learn SCADA and system interdependencies, including systems such as HVAC, exhaust, chilled water, hot water, DI water, and plant vacuum
• Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and controls system drawings
