Job summary

ESFM® USA is seeking a full-time Facilities Support Service Associate to maintain manufacturing and office environments, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional workplace. You will perform repairs, preventive maintenance, inspections, and support facility improvement projects while following safety and quality standards.

The role requires basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and equipment knowledge; weekend availability is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in facilities, building maintenance, construction, property maintenance, mechanical support, or related trades preferred.
• 1-3 years of related experience, preventive maintenance knowledge, and OSHA/safety training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, door/hardware repairs, ceiling tile replacement, furniture repair, and facility upkeep.
• Respond to service requests, complete work orders, conduct facility inspections, and perform preventive maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot facility issues and support guest/employee safety and comfort.

• We have an opening for a full time FACILITIES SUPPORT SERVICE ASSOCIATE position.
• Location: Stryker - 325 Corporate Drive, Mahwah, NJ 07430 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. Thursday- Monday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm. Must work weekends. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, property maintenance, and/or construction required.
• Pay Range: $26.00 per hour to $28.00 per hour

Job Summary

The Facilities Support Services Associate provides general facilities maintenance and support for manufacturing and office environments, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional workplace. Responsibilities include building repairs, preventive maintenance, facility inspections, work order completion, furniture installation, basic troubleshooting, and supporting facility improvement projects while following all safety, quality, and OSHA requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs, including basic carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, door/hardware repairs, ceiling tile replacement, furniture repair, and facility upkeep.
• Respond to service requests, complete work orders, conduct facility inspections, and perform preventive maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot facility issues and escape complex repairs as needed.
• Assist with installations, office moves, furniture assembly, workstation setups, and facility improvement projects.
• Maintain tools, equipment, inventory, maintenance records, and work order documentation.
• Support maintenance of storage areas, mechanical rooms, and facilities spaces.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and comply with all environmental, safety, GMP, quality, and security requirements.
• Coordinate with employees, contractors, vendors, and facilities teams while supporting emergency maintenance needs as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in facilities, building maintenance, construction, property maintenance, mechanical support, or related trades preferred.
• Working knowledge of general maintenance and repair practices.
• Basic computer skills and experience with work order systems or CMMS preferred.
• Strong communication, customer service, troubleshooting, organization, and safety awareness.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and function in manufacturing and office environments.
• 1-3 years of related experience, preventive maintenance knowledge, and OSHA/safety training preferred.
