Job summary

State of Florida is seeking a full-time Housekeeping and Janitorial Services assistant, reporting to a senior staff member. The role supports the Housekeeping and Janitorial Services area under the Sergeant at Arms Office and is assigned to the dayshift (7AM-4PM).

Responsibilities include cleaning chambers, offices, halls and restrooms, deliveries, stocking materials, and assisting with inventories. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; the position offers a competitive benefits

Qualifications

• Requires basic arithmetic and record keeping skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning, repair, and maintenance procedures.
