Job summary

Woodward in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Facilities Support Administrator to help maintain and improve facility operations, coordinating maintenance, inventory, inspections, and vendor services. You will work in a team atmosphere to support aerospace and military component manufacturing while adhering to ITAR/EAR regulations.

The role reports to the Facilities Director and offers a broad benefits package, including time off, health insurance, retirement matching, and professional development

Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating maintenance for facilities and supporting facility operations.
  • Ability to manage inventory, inspections, and vendor coordination.
  • Familiarity with ITAR/EAR considerations in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance Coordination: schedules and tracks routine maintenance for facilities.
  • Supply Management: orders and manages inventory of facilities supplies.
  • Facility Inspections: conducts regular facility inspections and reports issues.
  • Vendor Support: coordinates with vendors for facility-related services.
  • Record Keeping: maintains accurate facility operation records and logs.
  • Works with Procurement Team to establish suppliers for facilities activities.

Facilities Support Administrator Estimated annual base pay: $18.27(minimum) - $24.04(midpoint) - $29.33(maximum) Plus overtime if applicable All members included in annual cash bonus opportunity.

Reporting directly to the Facilities Director, this role supports the Facilities Department, including machine repair, facilities maintenance, and facilities planning. In this position, you will work in a team-of-teams environment to help support the manufacturing of aerospace and military components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance Coordination: Schedules and tracks routine maintenance activities for facilities to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Supply Management: Orders and manages inventory of supplies, ensuring availability and timely restocking.
  • Facility Inspections: Conducts regular inspections of facilities to identify and report any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Vendor Support: Assists in coordinating with vendors and service providers for facility related services and repairs.
  • Record Keeping: Maintains accurate records of facility operations, including maintenance logs and inventory records.
  • Works with Procurement Team in establishing Suppliers for facilities activities.

  • Procedural Compliance: Adheres to established protocols and guidelines in performing facility support tasks.
  • Problem Identification: Recognizes and reports routine issues following predefined procedures to maintain facility functionality.
