Job summary

Responsibilities include receiving shipments from major carriers, distributing items to departments, preparing shipments and kits, printing requisitions, and assisting with facilities tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of janitorial or environmental services experience, ideally in a healthcare or laboratory setting.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds for extended periods.

• Distribute received materials to appropriate departments and/or personnel.
• Prepare shipments for delivery.
• Prepare kits and vials necessary for supply orders.
• Print requisition forms.
• Monthly inventory of requisition forms and kit supplies.
• Assist reception and Sales Representatives with questions regarding clients and supplies.
• Dispose of cardboard and various other debris.
• Assist service vendors.
• Change or fix lighting in the building.
• Carry out other projects and/or duties that may be assigned occasionally.

Acupath Laboratories, Inc., a CLIA-approved, NYS-licensed, with a CAP-accredited Diagnostics Division is seeking aShipping and Receiving Clerkto facilitate pickups and deliveries to / from the medical laboratory. This role is critical to ensuring that our laboratory operates at our peak capacity.

Pay Range: $21.00 - $24.00 / hour
