Job summary

Coca-Cola Beverages Florida, LLC (Coke Florida) is seeking a Supervisor, Building Facilities Engineer to join the Tampa HQ area. You will oversee reliable operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and life safety, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Lead facilities engineers, manage preventive maintenance, coordinate vendors, and drive cost optimization while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience including hiring, performance management and scheduling.
  • 5+ years of progressive building operations or facilities engineering experience.
  • Experience across HVAC (commercial/industrial), electrical systems, plumbing and life safety systems.
  • EPA Certification, preferably Universal.
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs or work order systems.
  • Prior experience diagnosing and resolving building systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and lead a team independently.
  • Valid driver's license and clean MVR.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and web-based maintenance tools.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operation, maintenance, and repair of facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety and fire protection.
  • Ensure maximum uptime, reliability, and energy efficiency of building systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues; coordinate external support as needed.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and after-hours issues to minimize disruption.
  • Develop, schedule and execute preventative maintenance programs across all buildings.
  • Provide day-to-day direction, coaching and support to maintenance staff.
  • Maintain maintenance logs, service records and asset documents.
  • Assign work orders and prioritize activities for timely completion.
  • Review timesheets, manage overtime and conduct monthly performance reviews.
  • Support hiring, onboarding and development of facilities team.
  • Coordinate and oversee third-party contractors and service providers.
  • Identify and drive cost optimization programs.
  • Serve as site-level safety lead, ensuring OSHA compliance and KORE standards.

Position

Coke Florida is looking for a Supervisor, Building Facilities Engineer based out of our Tampa HQ area office.

What You Will Do

The Supervisor, Building Facilities Engineer, is responsible for reliable operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of building systems across assigned facilities. This role combines hands-on technical expertise and operational leadership, ensuring all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and safety systems operate effectively and in compliance with regulatory standards.

As the Supervisor, you will oversee the facilities engineers who are assigned to designated territories and are accountable for preventative maintenance programs, vendor coordination, safety compliance and day-to-day facility operations and maintenance.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the operation, maintenance and repair of all facility systems, including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety and fire protection systems.
  • Ensure maximum uptime, reliability and energy efficiency of building systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, escalating to or coordinating external support as needed.
  • Respond to emergency service calls and after-hours issues to minimize operational disruption.
  • Develop, schedule and execute preventative maintenance programs across all buildings.
  • Provide day-to-day direction, coaching and support to maintenance staff.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records and asset documentation.
  • Assign work orders and prioritize activities to ensure timely completion and operational continuity.
  • Review timesheets, manage overtime and conduct monthly performance reviews (1:1s).
  • Support hiring, onboarding and development of facilities team.
  • Coordinate and oversee third-party contractors and service providers, ensuring quality, safety and compliance.
  • Identify and drive cost optimization programs.
  • Serve as a site-level safety lead, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, local and state codes, and Coca-Cola Core Operating Requirements (KORE) and company safety standards.
Education and Skills
  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of leadership experience, including hiring, performance management and scheduling
  • 5+ years of progressive building operations or facilities engineering experience
  • Demonstrated experience across HVAC (commercial/industrial), electrical systems, plumbing and life safety systems
  • EPA Certification, preferably Universal
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs or work order systems
  • Prior experience with diagnosing and resolving building systems
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and lead a team independently

Additional Qualifications
