Job summary

Uline, a family-owned company and North America’s leading distributor of shipping, industrial, and packaging materials, is seeking a Facilities Specialist for its Ontario, CA location. You will maintain electrical lighting, HVAC and generator systems and perform routine maintenance to keep the building safe and welcoming.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, 3+ years in maintenance (plumbing, electrical, HVAC or carpentry), ability to lift 70 lbs, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, large-scale HVAC systems or carpentry.
• Strong troubleshooting and timely project completion skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs and hold a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical lighting, large-scale HVAC and generator systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor building, painting and alteration projects.
• Adjust, maintain and repair exterior and interior doors and locks.
• Inspect and test fire protection systems.
• Maintain plumbing fixtures and repair restroom facilities.
• Install and reconfigure office workstations and repair furniture/woodwork.
