Facility Service AssociateShift: Friday through Sunday, 7:00am to 7:30pmThe Facility Service Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, sanitary, and orderly warehouse environment while supporting the company’s food safety and sanitation programs. This position performs a variety of cleaning, sanitation, waste management, and general facility-cleaning tasks throughout the warehouse, work areas, common areas, restrooms, break rooms, loading docks, and storage areas.Employees in this role may be assigned a primary area or responsibility based on department priorities; however, all Facility Service Associates are expected to support the broader cleaning and sanitation needs of the facility and perform one another’s duties as needed.Essential ResponsibilitiesClean and maintain warehouse floors, walkways, workstations, and other facility areas by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, spot-cleaning, and scrubbing as appropriate for the surface.Dust and clean ceilings, light fixtures, countertops, machinery, racks, tables, furniture, and other surfaces and equipment.Clean and sanitize restrooms, toilets, sinks, break rooms, kitchen fixtures, and other common-use areas.Collect, empty, and properly dispose of trash and waste from designated areas throughout the facility.Break down, bale, stage, and/or otherwise prepare cardboard and packaging materials for recycling or pickup.Maintain the cleanliness and organization of loading docks, storage areas, work areas, and other assigned spaces.Clean and maintain windows and other applicable glass surfaces.Monitor cleaning and sanitation supplies and notify the appropriate supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.Report spills, hazards, breakages, damaged equipment, maintenance concerns, or other facility issues to the appropriate supervisor.Follow established food safety, sanitation, health, and safety procedures at all times.Properly handle and use cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.Maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, tidy, and orderly condition.Work collaboratively with the Cleaning Supervisor and other department employees to ensure cleaning and sanitation priorities are completed.Perform other cleaning, sanitation, facility, and related duties as assigned.General ExpectationsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periodsComfortable working in a warehouse environment (varying temperatures, machinery nearby)Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervisionBasic attention to detail and pride in keeping a clean workspacePrior janitorial, custodial, or warehouse experience a plus, but not requiredComfortability driving a tow motorComfortability in scissor lift
