Job summary

A Hiring Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support facilities upkeep under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent or Building Superintendent.

You will handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, grounds maintenance, appliance repair, and related tasks across buildings, grounds, and equipment. This role includes on-call duties and incident reporting within 24 hours.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience in all facets of property maintenance.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Knowledge in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, grounds maintenance, roofing, flooring, etc. or the ability to learn this skill.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely basis.
• Prepare apartment turnovers within established guidelines.
• Clean of community buildings, laundry rooms, office building, maintenance shop and grounds.
• Daily collection of debris on the property.
• Cleaning of parking lots and dumpster areas.
• Coordinate with Superintendent/Property Manager for inspections and follow-up with work orders.
• Be available for emergency duty (snow removal, fires, etc.) as defined by Management.
• Complete incident reports within 24 hours of occurrence.
