Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Intern in Facilities Planning to support the planning, construction management, and daily operations of facilities in Greenville, Rockwall, and Plano. You will help develop space configurations, layouts, and occupancy planning under general guidance, assisting with smaller projects and routine audits.

Preferred candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design.

Qualifications

• To be eligible, candidate's must be pursuing Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide space planning and design support for facilities in Greenville, Rockwall and Plano.
• Create conceptual layouts and space configurations to support programs and administration.
• Assist in space allocation, furniture layouts, and equipment planning; coordinate IT cabling and networking needs.
• Coordinate modular furniture installs and relocation of employees.
• Perform occupancy audits and update space management software.
• Work under general direction on smaller, non-routine tasks to improve processes.
• Propose solutions for review and communicate with team members.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
