Job summary

Cantex in Alvin, TX, is seeking a Painter to mix, match, and apply paint to various surfaces, perform touchups, drywall repairs including tape and bedding, texture application, sanding, and painting. The painter will facilitate and coordinate large projects for the facility.

A high school diploma and painting experience are required. English literacy and safety awareness are essential; experience in health care settings is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Painting experience required.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Responsible for ensuring patient/resident safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Mix, match, and apply paint to various surfaces.
• Perform touchups and drywall repairs (tape and bedding).
• Apply texture, sand, and finish surfaces.
• Coordinate and facilitate large painting projects for the facility.
