Job summary

GALLS, LLC is seeking a Building Maintenance Painter/Porter to keep the distribution center and surrounding areas clean, safe, and well-presented. You will perform painting, basic repairs, cleaning, and participate in facility improvement projects to support daily operations.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, safety-focused, with experience in painting and general maintenance, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution

Qualifications

Experience in painting and maintenance preferred.
Ability to perform basic maintenance and repair tasks.
Good attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Perform interior and exterior painting of walls, offices, docks and safety markings.
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming.
Maintain floor markings, walkways, safety zones, and traffic lanes.
Complete minor building repairs and assist with renovations.
Operate painting equipment and hand/power tools safely.
Identify safety concerns and report deficiencies to management.
Assist with seasonal projects such as snow removal and exterior upkeep.
