The City of Peoria is seeking a maintenance technician to support maintenance operations across municipal facilities, including parks and the Major League spring training complex. The role covers plumbing, HVAC, electrical and carpentry systems to ensure reliable operations.
Ideal candidates will have 4–6 years of experience, a two-year college program, a valid Class D driver’s license, and EPA Universal Certification upon hire.
Hiring Rate: $34.48/hr - $38.57/hr DOE
The purpose of this position is to support the maintenance operations of multiple facilities within the department, to include the City Parks and the Major League spring training complex for the San Diego Padres and Seattle Mariners. These operations include maintenance of all plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and electrical systems for parks facilities.
