Northwest Federal Credit Union seeks a Facilities Manager to lead the Facilities Team in Herndon, VA. The role ensures the physical environment is well-maintained, safe, and compliant, managing vendor contracts and safety standards.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, supervising repairs, maintaining HVAC and elevator systems, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This on-site role requires 5+ years of FM experience and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Facilities Management.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting boilers, elevators, HVAC systems, and other critical building infrastructure.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret government security clearance.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Basic computer use to maintain logs and respond to service requests.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of purchasing policies & procedures and vendor sources.
• Ability to work on-site in Herndon, VA headquarters.
• Ability to manage resources and budgets.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and deliver items throughout the buildings.

Aufgaben

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility to ensure effective maintenance services.
• Supervise maintenance, repairs, and alterations of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Maintain building systems including heat, cooling, water, power, plumbing, and elevators.
• Ensure legal compliance with safety standards and codes.
• Obtain bids, generate purchase orders, and arrange contracts within limits.
• Research vendors and maintain alternate supplier lists.
• Maintain knowledge of building materials, systems and code requirements.
• Ensure maintenance agreements are current.
• Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.
• Ensure facilities and purchasing functions comply with policies.
• Assist in budget planning and goal setting with leadership.
• Respond to building alarms with Security, 24/7.
• Ensure emergency supplies are stocked for all locations.
• Maintain records and reports.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Adhere to NWFCU policies and BSA regulations.
