Job summary

Christ the King Catholic Church in Dallas, TX seeks a Facilities Director to oversee all church and school facilities, including buildings, grounds, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, custodial services, safety and site security.

The ideal candidate has five years of hands‑on facilities experience, at least two years of supervisory responsibility, and strong vendor management, reporting, and IT skills with Excel, Outlook and Word. Some evening or weekend work is required to support events.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prepare basic written repair reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage preventive and reactive maintenance of facilities.
• Conduct weekly walk-throughs and safety checks.
• Maintain work order system and PM program.
• Primary contact for facility emergencies and for contractors.
• Manage outsourced janitorial and landscaping.
• Oversee IT-related facility issues.
• Coordinate events and manage building calendar.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and emergency manual updates.
