Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Facilities Planner/Scheduler III to join our Florida team. This role maintains facilities, plans preventive maintenance, and coordinates with vendors to ensure safe, efficient operations of manufacturing equipment and spaces.

You will support Maximo-based workflows, schedule maintenance, and assist with facility expansions while collaborating with shop personnel and project leads to mobilize assets and manage purchases.

This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations. Blue Origin, LLC. is a privately owned aerospace company developing technologies that will establish an enduring human presence in space. We are in search of a Facilities Planner/Scheduler III who will join our team of facility coordinators, equipment engineers, technicians, and construction specialists. This team is chartered with maintaining the overall facility, planning, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and unplanned servicing of facility systems and manufacturing equipment. Responsibilities

• Support the continued use and improvement of the CMMS preventive maintenance program (Maximo) for our properties. Specifically support maintenance workflow by creating assets, job plans and scheduling workflow.
• Plan and schedule maintenance and/or repairs of facilities and equipment in-house or serve as the focal point for contracted efforts.
• Work with contracted vendors in setting up/maintaining SOW bids, purchase orders and accounts.
• Coordinate maintenance workflow best practices with shop personnel.
• Assist with the definition and expansion of Blue Origin facilities.
• Support with project manager/leads on mobilization and demobilization of assets.
• Coordinate with outside suppliers for the purchase of parts or equipment.

Qualifications

• This position requires at least 3-5 years of relevant practical experience in industrial facilities management.
• Working knowledge of CMMS systems and daily workflow use.
• Experience with Maximo a plus.
• Experience in vendor and sub-contractor management.
• Knowledge of office and industrial facility infrastructure.
• Good familiarity with industrial safety standards and regulations.
• This position requires technical and industrial skills, but also a creative and flexible attitude.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint programs.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
