Job summary

Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee repair and maintenance for multiple Panda stores across one region, with occasional travel to two regions.

You will lead vendor selection, contract negotiations, and maintenance programs while training store managers and ensuring safety and cost efficiency. Applicants should have 5+ years in facilities maintenance, 1–2 years in facilities management, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Card

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent experience in facilities maintenance management.
• Minimum five years in facilities maintenance and 1–2 years in facilities management, preferably in retail/hospitality.
• Active driver's license and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage repair and maintenance for 60–100 stores across one region, ensuring Panda facility standards are met.
• Search, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with local and regional vendors for maintenance services.
• Train store managers on R&M programs and vendor collaboration to control quality and cost.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and train managers on their use with vendors.
• Assist Risk Management by responding to emergencies and inspecting issues to resolve.
• Utilize Service Channel tools and FM metrics to monitor vendor performance and costs.

Summary of Job Description:

The Facilities Manager (FM) is responsible for planning and managing the repair and maintenance for up to 60-100 stores in one (occasionally two) Region(s) and provides training to store managers on facility maintenance and repairs.This position searches, evaluates, and negotiates and contracts with regional vendors to provide preventative maintenance and needed repair services to assigned stores.The Facilities Manager manages vendors' performance to ensure work meets quality requirements and is provided in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage the repair and maintenance for up to 60-100 stores in one (occasionally two) Regions within metrics, ensuring all stores meet Panda facility standards.
• Search, evaluate, qualify, and negotiate contracts with local and regional vendors to provide preventative maintenance and repair services to assigned stores.
• Utilize and implement repair and preventive maintenance programs that enable store managers to handle routine or urgent situations. Train store managers on R&M (repair and maintenance) programs and on working effectively with vendors to control quality work and cost.
• Develop repair preventive maintenance programs that enable store managers to handle routine or urgent situations.Train store managers on the preventive maintenance programs and how to work with vendors.
• Support Risk Management's program by responding to emergencies, inspecting issues at hand,and helping createresolution.
• Use the Service Channel tools, reports, and FM metric to manage vendors' performance to control maintenance and repair costs.

• Austin, TX

Work Environment:

Your background & experience:

• Bachelor's degree preferred, Associates degree or equivalent years of work experience required
• Minimum five years of facilities maintenance-related experience and one to two years of facilities maintenance management experience, preferably in the retail/hospitality environment
• Working toward CRFP certification or equivalent
• Successful completion of initial and periodically required training
• Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.
• Active driver's license
• Ability to drive in locations that requires ground transportation during the course of work

Pay Range: M2: $112,500 - $158,000 / Annual

* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
