Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing facilities leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with CMMS/Asset management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee multiple manufacturing facilities in the Orange County area. This person will be tasked with ensuring facility operations remain safe, efficient, and compliant while supporting overall manufacturing performance. The role offers the opportunity to lead facility improvements, manage multiple teams, manage critical infrastructure, and drive operational reliability across the sites.

The Role
  • Lead facility maintenance operations, including preventive maintenance programs and repairs.
  • Manage facility staff, contractors, budgets, and maintenance-related procurement.
  • Oversee capital improvement projects focused on safety, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.

The Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field with 5+ years of manufacturing facilities leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical systems, cooling towers, chillers, and air compressors.
  • Experience managing maintenance programs, budgets, and capital projects preferred.
  • Familiarity with CMMS/asset management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
