Job summary

Origins Texas Recovery seeks an experienced Facilities Manager to lead building and grounds operations, ensuring mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems are optimal across the property. You will guide preventive maintenance, coordinate projects, and supervise facilities technicians and housekeepers.

This leadership role requires budget discipline, emergency readiness, OSHA compliance, and collaboration with risk, quality, and executive leadership to protect residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High School graduation or GED; additional education is a plus.
• Three years general maintenance or related work experience.
• General trades skills and mechanical ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage a preventive maintenance program within the annual budget covering HVAC, electrical and plumbing, and maintenance/repair of buildings and equipment.
• Respond to building emergencies; may require 24/7 on-call availability.
• Ensure facility is clutter-free and organized.
• Oversee housekeeping to maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and public areas.
• Keep property grounds swept and free of debris.
• Ensure chemicals are sealed, labeled, and stored safely; maintain PPE use.
• Coordinate with OSHA rules to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate disaster drills and annual inspections per licensure and regulations.
• Work with Risk and Quality to meet state and Joint Commission standards.
• Maintain SDS binders and organize work orders and project logs.
• Move and secure company assets; notify Finance of relocations.
• Lead and participate as a member of the Executive Management Team.
