Job summary

University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE seeks a facilities manager to provide oversight for Preventative Maintenance, Work Orders and minor renovations across HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, temperature controls, lighting and electrical systems.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field, at least 5 years of relevant experience, and two years in a supervisory/management role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related tools is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5 years of HVAC, Plumbing, Refrigeration, Electrical, or Temperature Controls trade experience required.
• Two years in a supervisory/management role preferred.
• Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Provide management services to complete Preventative Maintenance, Work Orders and minor renovations across listed trades.
• Oversee trades to ensure timely and compliant work order execution and PM activities.
• Coordinate with facilities and stakeholders to plan and execute minor renovations and improvements.
