We’re representing a fast-growing, well-funded renewable energy company that develops and operates organics recycling across the U.S. They’re seeking an experienced Recycling Facility Manager to lead operations at a key site.

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing the day-to-day operation of an organics recycling facility, ensuring smooth processing of materials, compliance with environmental & safety standards, and continuous operational improvements. You’ll lead a small team, optimize plant performance, and work closely with vendors, contractors, and leadership to keep the facility running at peak efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage daily operations: receiving, sorting, processing, and outbound logistics.
  • Train, supervise, and schedule staff, ensuring adherence to safety procedures.
  • Monitor and optimize processing equipment performance.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and develop long-term solutions.
  • Oversee maintenance planning, track repairs, and coordinate contractors.
  • Enforce safety standards and lead incident investigations to prevent recurrence.
  • Support SOP development and process improvements.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5–10 years’ experience in recycling, waste management, or industrial operations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to respond to equipment issues.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements (OSHA 30 preferred).
  • Ability to work in an industrial environment (heat, noise, rotating equipment).
  • Forklift or heavy machinery experience a plus.
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
