Job summary

Freudenberg Group seeks a Facilities Manager to lead maintenance for injection molding operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and mentoring technicians within a large global technology group.

Ideal candidates hold a engineering or industrial technologies degree and have 7+ years of relevant experience, including leadership of maintenance teams and hands-on troubleshooting with molding equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in supporting injection molding manufacturing equipment/maintenance operations/technical services leadership in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years leading maintenance/technical services/manufacturing support teams.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance with injection molding machines (Toyo/Engel/Battenfeld/Arburg).
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, controls, servo systems, robotics, automation, and molding process interactions.
• Experience with CMMS/ERP maintenance systems (SAP PM preferred) and maintenance planning.
• OSHA regulations knowledge; proficient with Microsoft Office; ability to mentor technicians and improve equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive experience supporting injection molding manufacturing equipment, maintenance operations, or technical services leadership in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years of experience leading maintenance, technical services, or manufacturing support teams.
• Extensive hands‑on troubleshooting and maintenance experience with injection molding machines, preferably Toyo, Engel, Battenfeld, and Arburg equipment.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, controls, servo systems, robotics, automation, auxiliary equipment, and molding process interactions.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor technicians, develop technical capabilities within a maintenance organization, and drive accountability for equipment performance.
• Proven success reducing equipment downtime, improving reliability, and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Experience with CMMS/ERP maintenance systems (SAP PM preferred), work order management, and maintenance planning.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, industrial safety practices, and facility utility systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance reporting/analytics tools.
