Job summary

The State of Ohio's Northwest Developmental Center in Toledo seeks a Maintenance Repair Worker 2 to perform plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks at a full-time, day shift.

Under general supervision, you will complete work orders, operate welding equipment, drive to pick up supplies, and help maintain facilities and equipment for residents and staff.

Union OCSEA; schedule 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; compensation $20.85 per hour.

Qualifications

• Formal education in arithmetic? not clearly specified.
• 6 months experience in maintenance repair work (plumbing, carpentry, electricity) could apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance, repairs, installations and building alterations (plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Operate welding equipment (acetylene torch) to braze, solder, etc.
• Drive vehicles to pick up and deliver supplies and furniture.
• Keep accurate track of work orders and complete Daily Production Sheet.
