Job summary

Johnny Janosik Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician for our Laurel, DE location. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and general upkeep of equipment, machinery, and building systems, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficient issue resolution.

The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and capable of diagnosing and resolving issues with minimal supervision, including after-hours alarm response and weather-related tasks.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of three years’ experience in the maintenance field preferred.
Knowledge of the challenges and strengths of a business industrial environment.
Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, facilities, and building systems.
Coordinate with Facilities Manager on vendor needs and supply orders.
Maintain general building and grounds and participate in safety activities.
Serve as a point of contact for facility alarm response after hours.
Assist with weather (snow) remediation and plowing.
Attend warehouse trainings on safety or general information.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
