Job summary

Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Technician - Handyman to support daily office facility needs. You will relocate furniture, assemble office furniture, assist with catering setups, perform carpentry and basic electrical tasks, and help maintain conference rooms.

You must pass security and be able to travel locally as needed. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 3 years in a corporate office environment, and familiarity with CMMS software and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in a corporate office environment or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a security access badge at client location.
• Ability to read and understand information contained in various documents or displayed on a computer screen.

Responsibilities

• Relocate and shift office furniture.
• Assemble furniture from office vendors (PC carts, display racks, etc.).
• Assist with catering and refreshment setups for meetings.
• Perform carpentry and repair tasks (sinks, doors, fixtures).
• Provide mailroom support as needed.
• Support Building Services operations with Office Services.
• Restock pantry supplies and beverages.
• Conduct daily facility walkthroughs and report findings.
• Perform re-lamping as needed.
• Maintain conference rooms for daily use.
• Collaborate with Office Services to address unsafe conditions.
• Monitor freight corridors for neatness and access.
• Assist with employee relocation projects and moves.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting (non-licensed).
• Complete CMMS work orders.
• Follow all safety, OSHA, and site policies.
