Job summary

City of Springdale seeks a maintenance-focused team member to perform ongoing upkeep in City Hall and Police Department facilities. You will contribute to a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for staff and the public.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 2 years of related experience, a valid Arkansas driver’s license, and the ability to operate various maintenance tools and small equipment. A background check and FBI fingerprint clearance are required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 2 years of related experience and/or training.
Must possess a valid Arkansas Driver's License.
Proficient in use of a variety of maintenance equipment including manual and power tools.
Ability to repair small mechanical equipment.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management and staff.

Responsibilities

Perform ongoing maintenance in City Hall/Police Department.
Provide good customer service to internal and external customers.
Inspect and maintain custodial equipment and small tools, ensuring proper working condition.
Move and set up furniture, pictures, etc. as needed.
Perform custodial duties as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
