Job summary

UniFirst Corporation is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Utility Worker to join our UniFirst community. As a Team Partner in the Maintenance Department, you will perform basic maintenance and plant utility functions, assist with loading/unloading deliveries, painting, and operating industrial equipment.

We provide on-the-job training and offer a Monday–Friday work week with periodic night and weekend overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, floor scrubbers, scissor lifts).
• Experience using basic hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Utilize equipment to perform plant cleaning operations including floor scrubbers and cleaning devices.
• Perform painting tasks throughout the plant or grounds.
• Operate powered industrial forklifts/lifts to relocate materials.
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks.
• Assist with production receiving activities.
• Perform facilities upkeep including landscaping and snow removal.
• Perform light equipment maintenance and basic inspections.
• May operate company shuttle or route trucks after training.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
