Job summary

The Building People, LLC, has a full-time Maintenance Trades Helper position to support a federal Agency in Edwards, California. The role covers general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings across multiple trades, including painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.

Responsibilities include replacing electrical components, patching walls, repairing sinks and fixtures, painting, hanging doors and installing locks, and moving furniture as needed.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of experience in general maintenance repair, operations maintenance and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Patch minor holes and cracks with plaster or compound.
• Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, and toilets; painting structures and equipment.
• Tile work, hang doors and install locks, replace broken windowpanes.
• Move and arrange office furniture and equipment as needed.
• Work is spot-checked for accuracy; other duties as assigned.
