The role blends maintenance, custodial tasks, and operational duties with a focus on reliability and responsiveness. Responsibilities include maintenance and repair of indoor and outdoor facilities, custodial tasks, prompt communication of issues, and strict adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in facility maintenance, custodial work, or a related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building systems (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry) is desirable.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Facility maintenance: repair indoor and outdoor facilities across campuses, including restrooms, doors, walls, ceilings, turf, landscaping, and parking lots.
• Custodial care: cleaning floors, replacing ceiling tiles, maintaining restrooms, and ensuring facilities are presentable at all times.
• Communication: respond promptly to maintenance-related calls, emails, and texts, generally within 24 hours.
• Safety & compliance: ensure adherence to safety standards, hazard prevention, and organizational policies.
• Equipment maintenance: perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment; schedule service as needed.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving: identify issues, determine root causes, and initiate timely repairs.
