Job summary

First Resources Corp. is seeking an energetic Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain facility equipment in a fast-paced environment. You will work independently at times and use a motorized lift and rental equipment as needed.

Major duties include scheduling preventive maintenance for vehicles and equipment, handling non-routine repairs, ensuring safety, stocking and requisitioning supplies, and maintaining clean, secure work areas across all locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
• Minimum 1 year maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in carpentry and home renovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and follow a regular maintenance schedule for vehicles and equipment, including inspections.
• Perform non-routine maintenance or coordinate with a supervisor for contractor work.
• Respond to emergencies and ensure safety standards are followed.
• Pickup supplies and requisition maintenance items as needed.
• Maintain security of department assets and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in required in-services.
• Handle yard work and snow removal for all properties.
