Job summary

Dee Zee, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform custodial duties, minor maintenance and related tasks to keep our buildings healthy, safe and sanitary. The role requires reliability, ability to work with others and basic safety awareness.

The responsive candidate should be willing to work in environments with elements like coolant, dust, noise and temperature variations, and to maintain facility cleanliness across offices and common areas.

Qualifications

• 1+ year janitorial or custodial experience required.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with others.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain offices, meeting rooms and employee recreational facilities.
• Clean and maintain tile and concrete flooring, including routine mopping.
• Dust and clean fixtures and furniture as needed.
• Empty wastebaskets and trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Keep areas surrounding entrances and exits clean and free of snow, litter, and debris.
• Replenish restroom supplies, including toilet tissue and soap, as needed.
• Vacuum and maintain carpeted areas and rugs.
• Clean and disinfect restroom floors, toilets, toilet seats and hand dryers.
• Clean and maintain glass entrance and exit doors.
• Clean and maintain mirrors and other glass surfaces.

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is esponsible for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure assigned Dee Zee buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe and sanitary manner.
