Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical school, trade school, or vocational training in electrical, mechanical, or industrial maintenance preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals, work orders, and technical drawings.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance, manufacturing maintenance, facilities maintenance, or commercial maintenance experience.
  • Strong experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, including equipment up to 480V.
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and production equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, cranes, welding equipment, and shop machinery.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance skills.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.
  • Stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Work safely in manufacturing, warehouse, and outdoor environments, including varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to travel occasionally, as needed.
  • Capable of working independently while managing multiple maintenance tasks and priorities.
Job Duties
  • Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and facility issues to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
  • Inspect machinery, equipment, and building systems to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
  • Repair or replace motors, wiring, fixtures, machine components, and other maintenance-related equipment.
  • Perform facility maintenance including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, masonry, and general building repairs.
  • Read and follow blueprints, schematics, manuals, and technical documentation to complete repairs accurately.
  • Operate forklifts, cranes, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools safely and effectively.
  • Assist with grounds maintenance, including snow and ice removal, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
What You Will Do

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician you will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, replace worn components, document completed work, and work closely with production and operations teams to minimize downtime while maintaining quality and safety standards.

A Facilities Maintenance Technician provides the technical support necessary to keep equipment, machinery, and facility systems functioning properly. The position requires strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to perform repairs safely and efficiently.
