Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in the United States. You will troubleshoot and repair facility equipment, perform preventive maintenance, assist with installs, and support safety programs. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment such as conveyors, stretch wrappers, and carton erectors.
• Perform general and preventive maintenance of building, grounds, office, and warehouse equipment.
• Assist with equipment installs, completing work orders, determining / ordering materials and parts needed for repairs, and maintaining clean work areas.
• Participate in all plant safety / accident prevention programs and follow all safe work practices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Maintains and repairs facilities and equipment (e.g. mechanical and electrical systems as HVAC, sanitary, janitory facilities). This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career.

SHIFT SCHEDULE: 5:00AM - 1:30PM, Monday - Friday

• In your activities you will troubleshoot and repair facility equipment such as conveyors, stretch wrappers, and carton erectors.
• You will perform general and preventive maintenance of building, grounds, office, and warehouse equipment that may include cleaning and lubricating machinery.
• You will assist with equipment installs, completing work orders, determining / ordering materials and parts needed for repairs, and maintaining clean work areas.
• You will participate in all plant safety / accident prevention programs and follow all safe work practices in order to ensure a safe work environment.
• You will perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.

• You have a strong mechanical and problem-solving aptitude along with good communication skills.
• You have a working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in an industrial setting.
• You have knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
• You can read and understand blueprints, drawings, sketches, layouts, and equipment manuals.
• You are experienced with electrical systems (3 phase 480v) and motor controls.
• You have experience with HVAC, plumbing and fire control systems.
• You can climb stairs and ladders and are able to work from heights up to 45 feet.
• You can operate powered industrial equipment such as: forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
• You can work in a refrigerated environment for extended periods of time and occasionally in extreme cold.

Required skills to have for the success of this role

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to work all shifts and required overtime with short notice.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds without assistance.

The base pay range for this position is:

$48,080 - $66,110

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
