Job Description - Overview

Hobby Lobby’s Construction / Facilities Team is looking for a full time individual with experience as a Maintenance Technician. Work week schedule may vary and could include some weekends.

Job Duties

• Identify and troubleshoot commercial type overhead doors including the adjustment, repair and/or replacement of panels, springs, drives, shafts and safety devices.
• Perform general commercial maintenance with associated scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
• Work with the installation, repair and/or removal of commercial type carpet and VCT.
• Inspect and/or repair fire protection equipment, plumbing components, office furniture, floor coverings, ceiling materials and roofing components.

• The individual will be a self‑starter, have a professional attitude, work well with others, be willing to learn and have the ability to adapt to new skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; push/pull/carry or maneuver heavier items with additional manpower or appropriate devices; work with ladders; work from various heights.
