Job summary

Ash Street Place is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to help maintain and improve our facility with a focus on quality and excellence. You will perform a variety of tasks to keep the building in top shape, including plumbing, painting, carpentry, and electrical repairs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of maintenance experience. Certifications (HVAC, electrical, or plumbing) are desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of maintenance experience preferred.
• No specific licenses required, though relevant certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) desirable.
• Proficient in the use of maintenance tools such as drills, screw and nail guns, air hoses, hammers, and paint/drywall tools.
• Strong mechanical knowledge in plumbing, construction, and repair.
• Customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Comply with relevant laws and uphold high ethical standards.
• Perform maintenance tasks including plumbing, painting, carpentry, and electrical repairs.
• Address housekeeping needs such as room maintenance and outdoor area upkeep.
• Organize storage areas and maintain maintenance tools.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and security throughout the facility.
• Attend and engage in meetings as required.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service, problem-solving, and decision-making within the role.
• Prioritize and coordinate tasks to maximize productivity.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
