Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job ID: FMT-IN

Location: Elkhart, IN area

Pay: $26.50/hr + Overtime + full employee benefits

1^st shift: Monday – Friday (day hours)

Responsible for safely and effectively troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining grounds, buildings, and systems at a pace that meets customer demands.

Qualifications:

• Able to safely perform maintenance tasks using basic hand tools and basic power tools
• Able to safely and proficiently perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and rebuild tasks
• Able to safely and proficiently perform basic troubleshooting and installation of lighting systems and lighting fixtures throughout the facility
• Able to safely and proficiently perform basic troubleshooting and installation of plumbing systems and plumbing fixtures throughout the facility
• Able to safely and proficiently maintain/troubleshoot HVAC, filtration, and pneumatic systems
• Able to safely and proficiently maintain/troubleshoot hoists and bridge cranes
• Responsible for safe and proficient maintenance of pneumatic compressor systems
• Responsible for safe and proficient maintenance/troubleshooting of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
• Able to safely and proficiently perform painting, dry, wall, framing, and interior trim work tasks
• Responsible for safe and proficient operation of plowing, salting, mowing, and trimming equipment
• Able to safely and proficiently perform basic production troubleshooting and rebuild tasks, as necessary, to support production
• Able to safely and proficiently operate fork trucks and aerial lifts

• Working in a manufacturing setting: steel / metal fabrication is a plus

• Understand and comply with the workplace safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work area

• Must speak English – Spanish is a plus
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings
