Job summary

BME Fire Trucks is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to help maintain our buildings on a full-time basis at our Boise, Idaho campus. The role focuses on electrical and mechanical maintenance to keep a 12-structure, 48-acre facility safe and functional.

You will perform preventive maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and basic carpentry while coordinating with Engineering to plan equipment installations and improvements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma plus technical school training.
• 5–7 years of electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Building maintenance and repairs on the campus (12 structures, 48 acres).
• Function and electrical testing, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical parts, and general carpentry.
• Collaborate with Engineering and staff to identify best locations for new and used equipment installation.
• Preventive maintenance on facilities, equipment, and grounds (building repair, plumbing, HVAC).
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job Description

BME Fire Trucks is seeking Facilities Maintenance Technician to help maintain our buildings.

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician your responsibilities will include:

• Building maintenance and repairs. The current campus is 12 structures and 48 acres.
• Function and electrical testing, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical parts, and general carpentry.
• Working with Engineering and staff to help identify the best location for new and used equipment installation.
• Preventive maintenance activities on facilities, equipment, and grounds. (Building repair, plumbing, and HVAC)
• Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

• High School diploma plus additional related technical school training
• Five (5) to seven (7) years of electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
